Khala Herrera
Hello!
My name is Khalina Herrera, but you can call me Khala ;). I am a Dominican Illustrator currently based in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. My interests for illustration started in my early teens and have now developed into an ever-growing passion. I enjoy creating conceptual illustrations for editorial pieces as well as relatable comics that tell complex yet approachable stories of human nature.
Through my illustration style I like to convey the feeling of closeness which I believe is a very effective way of communicating important messages. Connecting ideas and creating concepts is truly my favorite part of the whole process of creating illustrations.
